Before You Play
PREPARE THE DECKS
Before the game can begin you must separate all the cards into their respective decks. There are 4 decks that must be made, Orders, Drinks, Food, and Actions. Each deck contains an assortment of different types of cards. Card Types are indicated by the word under each card’s image or at the bottom of that card. After you have sorted the cards shuffle each deck thoroughly so that the cards are randomly distributed within the deck.
Decks
ORDER DECK
The Order deck is comprised of all Order and Event cards. Order cards each have a unique title at the top of the card that lists the Food and/or Drink cards required to complete that Order. No two Orders are the same, each having their own title, point value, and reward.
Drink Deck
The Drink deck is comprised of all Drink cards as well as all the Wild cards associated with Drinks (“Any 1 Drink” and “Any 2 Drinks”). There are eight different kinds of Drinks used to complete Orders.
Food Deck
The Food deck is comprised of all Food cards as well as all the Wild cards associated with Food (“Any 1 Food” and “Any 2 Food”). There are eight different kinds of Food used to complete Orders.
Action Deck
The Action deck is comprised of all Action cards.
Getting Started
Preparing the Table
Once all 4 decks have been assembled and thoroughly shuffled, place the Food, Action, and Drink decks in a row on one side of the table. Then place the Order deck next to the other three, but in its own row. Flip over the top eight cards of the Order deck onto the table forming two rows of four cards (if any Event cards are flipped during this process, flip another card instead and shuffle the Event cards back into the deck). As cards are discarded during the game place them into a discard pile at the end of the rows of Orders.
This configuration has proven to work well for most tables, feel free to adjust as needed. Each player will need to have room in front of themselves to play cards and collect their completed Orders.
Drawing your hand
Before the game can start each player draws two cards from the Food deck, two from the Drink deck, and four from the Action deck. Each player forming a hand of eight cards. Once everyone has their opening hands assembled, select a player to go first.
Taking Your Turn
New Customer Orders
Each turn begins with that player drawing the top card of the Order deck and placing that card on top of one of the current eight active Orders. If there are less than eight active Orders on the table, the new Order must be placed in the open spot.
If the card that’s drawn is an Event, do as it instructs and then discard the Event card.
Choices to Make
Players have three actions that they can take each turn. Each action has two choices, the player can draw a card or play a card. Any combination of the two choices is acceptable. Drawing three cards, or playing three cards, or drawing one and playing two, etc. These actions can be done in any order that you want.
You can start your turn by drawing a card, seeing what you get, and then playing off that. Or if you have the cards you need to complete an Order, you can play those instead. Find the strategy that works for you each turn.
Drawing A Card
There are three decks players can draw from on their turn, the Food deck, the Drink deck, and the Action deck. To draw a card, take the top card of the deck you want and place it in your hand.
Playing A Card
To play a card you must first have it in your hand, lay the card you intend to play onto the table in front of you and read the card out loud. Follow the directions given on the card, and complete any and all actions described.
After a card has been played, unless it says otherwise, it is placed in the discard pile.
You may not want to complete this Order if you don’t have two cards in your hand to play.
Completing An Order
The only Orders that are available to be completed are the eight cards at the top of each stack of Orders. As new Orders come in each turn they will cover up those previously available. Once the top Order is completed, it will reveal the card underneath, making that old Order available again.
Fulfilling an Order can be done at any time during your turn. To complete an Order you must first have all the required Food and/or Drink cards listed on the Order. These cards must be in play in front of you, either having been played on previous turns or as actions during the current turn.
If you have all the cards needed to complete an Order, pick up those cards and stack them on top of each other. Then, take the Order card you are completing and place it face up on top of the stack you just made. Keep this collected Order in front of you.
Now that you have completed an Order you are awarded with whatever action is described on the card. This action must be executed immediately before anything else is done. Fulfill the Order card’s description to the best of your ability, if the card instructs you to do something you cannot, ignore that instruction.
Each Order is also worth a specific amount of points toward your overall score, the point value is detailed at the base of each Order’s image.
How To Win
First To 20 Points
The game ends as soon as a player reaches 20 or more total points from their completed Orders. Once a player has accumulated enough Orders to reach 20 points they simply need to declare themselves the winner. The other players then have a chance to verify all the Orders are truly completed and valid. If the player has all the points they need, they win the game.
Playing Through An Entire Deck
If one of the 4 decks on the table runs out of cards at any time, the game immediately ends. Each player counts up how many points they have from their completed Orders. The player with the highest score wins. If there is a tie, no one wins.
